This bugs me because NO THEY WOULDN’T have been together. Most likely.

David and Mary Margaret weren’t together for 28 years- he was in a coma and she had no idea who he was. Regina would have made extra sure Emma was ripped from Mary Margaret as well, probably in a very painful way (hello, Jefferson?!). It wasn’t Happy Fun Family Timez in Storybrooke all those years.

Of course, not sure a billion foster homes was better but still
